Newsletter

The <newsletter> element is where you enter the identifier of the relevant Email, SMS, or Push group. You can get the appropriate group identifier from the Web UI.

The <newsletter> element:

• Belongs to the Common sections and elements and is mandatory

• Is positioned as the first entry within the generic campaign type (for example, <email>) section of the XML instructions file

The group defined in the <newsletter> element provides the default values for the elements in the appropriate message section.
