Events

In addition to customer demographic data, it is possible to collect and subsequently use information on interactions that have occurred between the customer and the company. On the platform, these interactions are referred to as Events.

The platform provides a list of predefined events, which can be enabled or disabled directly from the interface. Standard events can be extended as needed through the Add Extended Properties command in the Settings > Customers > Events page or Settings > Customers > Properties > Extended.

View an event and its structure

On the Settings > Customers > Events page, you can view all events or search for a specific event by entering a keyword in the Type the keyword here field.

To view the data structure of an event, click on the desired event. The Event Structure page is for informational purposes only and cannot be edited.

Enable or disable an event

To enable or disable events through the UI, locate the event and click on the switch positioned to the right of the box. If an event is enabled, the switch is green; when it is disabled, it is gray.

Download a JSON file

For integration, configuration, and customization, you can download a copy of the JSON file with the schema of each event:

  • Select the event of interest and click on Download JSON.
  • The JSON file will be downloaded locally and can be opened with a suitable program.
