On-Demand deliveries

Through the Contactsend API, you can set up on-demand deliveries of the immediate message type, which are triggered by an event.

Following an action performed by a user, an email message is automatically sent. A typical use case is managing system messages on websites, such as "password recovery" emails or confirmation emails for event or service registration. Each user will instantly receive an email with the predefined template.

Immediate message deliveries can be created directly from the Contactsend interface, which will return the values to use in the API calls.

You can create immediate message deliery in the Create > Email Campaign area (for the creation process, see the Create section of the guide).

The Configure > Delivery on-demand section is divided into the following areas:

  • Immediate message delivries
  • Triggered deliveries (obsolete)

Once created, the immediate message deliveries can be managed and modified in this section (Configure > Delivery on-demand > Immediate Message).

Configure delivery on-demand

By clicking on the edit icon, you can modify the campaign template.

warning

It is not possible to modify or delete tracked links. If a change is necessary, it is recommended to create a new template.

You can delete deliveries only if they have not yet been sent, by clicking on the delete button.

By clicking on the statistics icon, you can analyze the statistics related to this template, such as the details of sends, opens, clicks, etc. These statistics are also visible in the Analyse > Campaign Archive > Delivery immediate message section (for details, see the Analyse section of the guide).
