New plan with SMS delivery action

In the Plans List > Create section, after filling in the various parameters as indicated in the previous chapter, select the Send SMS action to create an SMS delivery and then click Configure.

This action will only be available if the SMS channel was activated during setup.

A wizard will appear to create the SMS delivery, which should be completed as follows:

• Enter the Delivery Name: for internal use within the platform, enter a name that identifies the SMS plan.

• Select the SMS Group previously configured: the Sender (alias from which the message will be sent) will be automatically retrieved.

  Please note that the SMS sender must be a text string (max 11 characters), and for messages sent in Italy, it must be registered with Agcom before use. Contact Customer Service for more details on registration.

  By default, the phone number deduplication option will be selected to prevent the same user from receiving the same message multiple times.

• Enter the content of the Message. By default, the maximum message length is 160 characters.

  To send longer messages, contact Customer Service to request the activation of concatenated SMS (allowing the sending of up to a maximum of 7 messages).

• Finally, click Save.

• In Actions, a summary of the previously selected options will be displayed:

  

  Decide whether to click Save as Draft to continue working later or Save to schedule the SMS for delivery at the selected date/time.
