Right to restriction of processing

info

The Right to restriction (Art. 18) of processing is a right that can be exercised in cases where there is a dispute about the accuracy of the processed data (pending rectification by the Data Controller), the legality of the processing (when the Controller opposes deletion), or when there is an objection to the processing.

When the Data Subject exercises the right to restriction, the data is not deleted, but its use is limited.
The request can be fulfilled via API as part of the normal profile update flow, or manually through the UI.

If the request is handled through the UI, platform users with specific permissions can:

  • Access the Customers > Customer List section.

  • Search for and/or select the relevant profile and click on Edit.

    Edit customer

  • Enter the Consents area and make the necessary changes as requested by the Data Subject.
