Integrations
To use custom audiences or lead ads, you must first link at least one Facebook Ads Account to the Contactsend platform. The configuration section is accessible via Configure > Integrations > Facebook.
Please refer to the dedicated section of the manual before proceeding.
Custom Audience
You can use a database present in Contactsend or a part of it (filter) to create a new custom audience on Facebook or to feed an existing one.
Click on Custom audience.
To create a new custom audience, click + new synchronization.
Then, define:
- Source: DB name (previously selected) and possible filter or All users.
- Matching Medium: whether email or phone number.
- Destination: select the previously configured Facebook account.
Then create a new Custom Audience (alternatively, you can select an existing one from the second tab), specify the data source (e.g., User provided data), add a description, accept the terms, and click Upload.
You may also schedule an automatic update with incremental uploads.
Check the correct data upload directly in the Ads Manager within Facebook Business Suite.
Facebook Lead Ads
This integration allows you to import subscriptions from your Facebook page into Contactsend.
Click Facebook Lead Ads.
To associate a new form, click + Connect new Lead Ads form.
In the next step, fill in all the required fields:
- Facebook Integration: select the configured Facebook integration from the dropdown menu.
- Facebook Pages: select the Facebook page to integrate from the dropdown menu.
- Form: click on the form you want to use.
- Fields configuration: map the Facebook form fields you want to include to the user DB fields and any metadata (adgroup_id, ad_id, created_time, leadgen_id, page_id, form_id).
- Source Identifier: to tag each subscription coming from a specific form with a constant value that will be added to a dedicated field in the database (Tag). By default, we use the form ID.
- Any configured Contactsend subscription system.
Among the various fields, there is leadgen_id. This is a mandatory field (it cannot be deselected) and must have a corresponding column in the database where the system will write the value.
Finally, click on Save to proceed.
A graph showing the overall subscription trend for the last 14 days is always visible.
